Have you ever watched the movie 3 idiots! What were your dreams when you were a child? Childhood is undoubtedly the most beautiful part of an individual’s life. The life of a child is a blank white paper when it is born. It starts to observe the things around it, it falls, it fails, it tries, it learns. A child starts building bonds with its environment, it starts recognising people and is slowly introduced to the world of competition.
As a child we have all freedom to live without any worries about what others think or what the society will think of us. We watch super heroes and try to be like them or make them as ideals of our life. Summer vacations feels like we were given holidays for years together. To a child, crying is just the way of expressing its needs. We believe the stories said to us and consider them to be true and be happy in our own world. This phase of life is also the one where everyone enjoys your success and wants you to grow.
As we grow up everything changes, a child is taught how to be the best and the thought of being rejected if you are not the best is embedded into his/her mind. When a child becomes an adult whether he wishes or not but his mind is programmed to win a rat race in which millions of rats are running unaware about what they are losing. The dream that we believed in our childhood slowly starts to lose its existence as we grow up. The world of competition and responsibilities makes a child to grow into an adult. The child who once believed that he can reach the stars (achieve his dream) is made to realize that his/her wings are limited and is bound by the rules and restrictions of this society.
